Farewell Redhead duck. I so enjoyed your extended stay at the Central Park Pool this past winter. I hear you've packed your bags and are off on your next adventure. Safe travels, and come back next year! Taken on March 12. #birdcpp #redheadduck

I took a little break from the owls the other day to spend some time with our winter visitor, the Redhead, on what was apparently his last day in the park ❤️🦆 Safe travels, buddy! #birdcpp #centralpark #birdwatching #birdtwitter

Happy #WorldSparrowDay! The Song Sparrow is one of the most common birds we band at Coyote Creek Field Station (CCFS). As of Dec 2020, this individual was 7 years old and had been caught by us 29 times! Bird handled for research & released unharmed by trained permitted banders.
